Morocco beat Haiti 4–2 at Atlanta Stadium in a six-goal thriller that sent the Atlas Lions into the last 32 as Group C runners-up. Haiti took the lead through a Yassine Bounou own goal on 10 minutes and Wilson Isidor's stunning 25-yard strike on 43 minutes, but Achraf Hakimi bundled in the rebound on 39 minutes and Ismael Saibari swept home Hakimi's cutback in first-half stoppage time to level at 2–2 by the break.

Achraf Hakimi was named Player of the Match after creating seven chances and scoring the equaliser as Morocco finished with 69% possession, 22 shots and 11 on target to Haiti's nine and two in front of a sell-out crowd of 68,239. Substitute Soufiane Rahimi controlled Chadi Riad's headed flick from a corner and fired in via a deflection on 78 minutes, and Gessime Yassine tucked home after Rahimi kept the ball alive on the byline in the 89th minute following a lengthy VAR review. Duckens Nazon, Johny Placide and Josué Casimir were booked for Haiti.

Morocco finish Group C on seven points, behind Brazil on goal difference, and will face the winners of Group F in the round of 32. Haiti bow out without a point despite scoring twice in the first half — their first World Cup goals in 52 years — while Scotland's heavy defeat to Brazil left Steve Clarke's side waiting on other results to learn whether a third-placed berth remains possible.
