England and Ghana played out a 0–0 draw at Boston Stadium as Carlos Queiroz's side earned a valuable point against the Group L pace-setters. Thomas Tuchel's team dominated with 79% possession and 19 shots but could not break down a disciplined Ghana defence, with Nico O'Reilly's 87th-minute header coming back off the crossbar and Harry Kane firing the rebound high with the goal gaping.

Jude Bellingham was named Michelob Ultra Superior Player of the Match as England finished with three shots on target to Ghana's one in front of 63,983 fans. Declan Rice was booked for fouling Jerome Opoku on 41 minutes and Iñaki Williams saw yellow for a challenge on Anthony Gordon on 60 minutes. Ghana's best opening came when Prince Adu raced through on goal but Ezri Konsa's challenge was waved away by VAR, while Marc Guehi had a stoppage-time header cleared off the line.

Both teams move onto four points at the top of Group L and can secure last-32 places with a point on the final matchday — England face eliminated Panama in East Rutherford and Ghana take on Croatia in Philadelphia on 27 June. The stalemate is England's fourth successive goalless second group game at a major tournament, but progression remains in their own hands.
