Switzerland defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina 4–1 at Los Angeles Stadium after a goalless first half. Johan Manzambi came off the bench to volley Switzerland ahead in the 74th minute, Rubén Vargas curled in a second from Breel Embolo's cut-back, and Manzambi tapped in a third before Bosnia had Tarik Muharemovic sent off for a professional foul on Embolo.

Ermin Mahmic pulled one back with a fierce stoppage-time volley, but Granit Xhaka sealed the points from the penalty spot in the seventh minute of added time after Djibril Sow was fouled by Amar Memic. Manzambi was named Michelob Ultra Superior Player of the Match as Murat Yakin's side finished with 62% possession, 13 shots and seven on target in front of 70,026 fans.

Switzerland lead Group B on four points alongside Canada. The Swiss face the co-hosts in Vancouver on 24 June, while Bosnia meet Qatar in Seattle on the same day.
